Training & Certification
In order to conform with the CSA Standard for breathing air compressors (Z180.1), as well as to maintain warranty, a Jordair certification with the appropriate level is mandatory for performing any kind of maintenance or service work on Jordair compressors. The Jordair training course is designed to educate and certify students on the safe operation and proper maintenance of our compressor systems. These comprehensive courses are separated into two levels based on the complexity of topics covered.

Course Details
The Level One course covers the theory, operation, & basic maintenance of our high-pressure breathing air compressor systems. This will include procedures on the filter and oil changes for standard Jordair compressors. This course is open to applicants of any experience level, including technicians with our dedicated service partners, or end-users that want to perform their own filter and oil changes. Some basic technical and compressor experience is recommended, but not required, for applicants of this course.
The Level Two course is a technically advanced course that builds upon the Level One course with both classroom instruction and hands-on training in compressor block servicing. In this two-day program students will learn to perform complex service procedures and will be required to disassemble and reassemble a compressor block in Jordairs training facility. This includes procedures for performing the 1000 hour and 2000 hour block overhaul service. This course is intended only for experienced technicians, previous mechanical & compressor experience is mandatory for all applicants.
